Leash

Written and directed by the BAFTA-nominated rising star Harry Lighton, Leash explores a story of prejudice and fear in a small Welsh town where a Polish girl hides a secret. Selected to play in competition at the 2018 BFI London Film Festival.

What is Leash about?

June 2016. In their first ever European Championships, Wales march through to the semi-finals.  For a girl gang in small-town South Wales, the post-Brexit line between patriotism and xenophobia becomes blurred.

What is it based on?

The prophet Elijah enforces an unlikely and distinct punishment against a gang who mock him – as told in the book of 2 Kings chapter 2.

Where can I watch it?

Leash is available to watch on Horror channel ALTER.
