They say that life begins in your thirties but what if, for that to happen, you have to learn to deal with death? That's the challenge that faces Paula, Sarah, Molly, and Karen as they find themselves back in The Parish they grew up in and unexpectedly in charge of the local Crematorium. It's a far from an ideal situation for The Parish but they will have to make it work. In fact, surprisingly The Parish might find out that its new venture might just be the 'Crem de la Crem' of ways to enter the afterlife after all #yodo (you only die once).
Genesis 3:19. "By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return." The idea came to be after I had to organise a family member's cremation and was suddenly left with the realisation that, no matter what they had achieved in their life, they would end up the same as anyone who was cremated. I knew of this bible passage and how the Lord God reacts reacts to Eve being deceived by the serpent. I think it fits in with the strong female led storyline, four women all with flaws who have been deceived by life and must try and make amends.
