The finalists’ weekend

Our finalist weekend is a prize in itself, networking with fellow contestants, meeting and responding to our judges' panel and an opportunity to see the world famous studios.

Coaching

In 2009, 2010 and 2011 we offered coaching to help out finalists prepare for their live Pitch to the panel. If you are finalist in 2012 you will have this opportunity to help develop and hone your pitching skills.

Saturday

Screening of all finalist pitches to the judges' panel in one of the theatres at Pinewood.

Live Pitches given to the panel either in the morning or the afternoon in the boardroom of the Pinewood Studios. There will also be tours of the studios for those who wish to take them.

There will be an opportunity for all finalists to have lunch with the judges.

At the end of the afternoon three of the finalists will be invited to return again on Sunday with accommodation provided for the Saturday night. This will allow the finalists to go away and hone their Pitch, before coming back to go into more detail about the strengths and weaknesses with the panel.

Sunday

The final three pitches will each have an extended time with the panel.

Announcement of the winner will be made at lunchtime on the Sunday.
