Enter The Pitch opens for entries for the tenth year!

ENTRIES OPEN TODAY FOR SHORT FILM COMPETITION ‘ENTER THE PITCH’. Film makers looking for their first step into the film industry and looking to make their first short film are ideally suited to this competition.

Pitchers need to submit a contemporary idea that draws on Bible text for inspiration with the hope of winning £30K production budget to produce their short film idea.

“As it’s our 10th year of running the competition we are looking for some great entries to top previous years! All that’s needed is a 2 minute pitch submitted online explaining your idea. This is where our competition differs so much to others, explains Luke Walton, Director of Enter the Pitch. “All we’re asking is for candidates to come up with an idea and pitch it to us.  It is that simple! Then we go into an online voting process until we shortlist to down to ten”, he adds.

In return the competition offers

  • £30K cash budget for the project
  • Additional free production support
  • Pinewood Studios finals
  • Meet top industry professionals
  • Trip to Los Angeles
  • Residential masterclass for Top 10 candidates, with top story development input.
  • Mentoring and pitching training.

The website offers plenty of advice with examples of previous winning films, tips from previous candidates and interviews with judges to inspire.  Failing that our producers are on hand to discuss ideas before final submission.

“We believe in investing in people and to give people the best possible career boost.  We also give the opportunity to showcase our competition through the winning film to the rest of the world. It’s always really exciting to start receiving entries and this year we will be receiving them right up until 22 October!”  says Luke.
