The 2010 winner

Director Rob McLellan pitched his idea for the short film ‘Rahab’, based  upon the Biblical story of the fall of Jericho.  Having successfully negotiated the pitching stage he won the right to £25,000 and production support to make his short.  The film was in prep between the January finalist day of the Pitch competition and the five day shoot in early July.  Post-production took just nine weeks.  Starring Jessica Oyelowo (Murphy’s Law, Alice in Wonderland) and David Oyelowo (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Last King of Scotland, Spooks); it was produced by Jackie Sheppard (Africa United) and Luke Walton and written by Neville Pierce (Empire Magazine, The Sunday Times).
